Preparing a Good Contest Essay
Essay contests are aimed at giving a platform for those who have a flair for writing, to practice their skills as well as showcase it. When topics are given, the criteria will be for you to stick to the topic as closely as possible. For that, you will need to first find a focal point from which to deal with the topic. Think of the most interesting angle. Do not go for the most discussed views unless you have something interesting to add to it. An interesting perspective to the given topic is the easiest way to capture the attention of those who judges your essay.
Present the matter in good language. There is no need to use big and complex words. The best articles are those which are written in simple but appropriate words. There should be absolutely no grammatical errors or spelling mistakes in your contest essay. It will not only take points off your submission but it will create a negative impression which may in turn affect the fair judgment of your essay.
